05/05/09Despite the massive threats of lodging, and palm oil plantations, the rainforest in Borneo remains one of the true wilderness in the planet.
Hot, dark, terribly humid, slippery, slimy... the rainforest is a much more difficult experience than the African savannah. But in spite of this, it is a memorable experience. And being able to encounter, observe and photograph a truly wild Orang Utan will make every effort worthwile!
There is only one place where one can really experience this amazing wilderness: the world-famous Borneo Rainforest Lodge.
Best time to visit: from May onwards, once the wet season is over.
