Wild Places

Namibia's main National Park is made of a narrow band of land that surrounds a huge white empty expanse - the Etosha Pan (the dried remains of a massive ancient lake). The park has a number of natural and artificial waterholes around which attract wildlife from many kilometers around.

Best time to visit - September to November. These are the last months of the dry season, when the concentration of wildlife in the holes is simply stunning.
